THE BELCHERS ARE BACK!
Say what you will about "Bob's Burgers," but ever since it's premiere in 2011, it's easily become one of the most well-written and infectiously offbeat animated sitcoms in recent years. Creator Loren Bouchard's signature quirky, oddball humor continues to help drive the show beyond the standard formula of other popular programs like "The Simpsons" and "Family Guy." And just by relying on the characters and their irreverent personalities for the primary source of comedy in every episode, the writers are able to create gold out of seemingly simple predicaments that don't take very long to spin ridiculously out of control. Sure, it's not a perfect series, but last season alone proved that "Bob's Burgers" has more than enough comic timing, utterly memorable characters, terrific voice acting, and delightfully absurd music to keep it fresh and entertaining for many more years to come. And that's why I know this latest season won't disappoint!
This is a very underrated show and the preview seems like the appetizer to an amazing (hopefully 22 course/episodes) season. For those who loved the old Simpsons episodes and want something with meaning (vs that show with that Guy and his Family), this show, given a chance in form of viewing a few episodes, will surely help satiate your need for a grown-up cartoon that goes beyond fart jokes. I love this show. Keep it up Bob's Burgers!!!
Not happy about the ads.
The show is good, if you're here you probably know that. I really think it's a bad move to put ads before and/or after a tv episode that you pay for. It's really turned me off to purchasing any other episodes. I will buy elsewhere.
