Description

The hilarious rural adventures of lawyer Oliver Wendell Holmes (Eddie Albert) and his socialite wife Lisa (Eva Gabor) in the bizarre rural enclave known as Hooterville. By this point in the series, Oliver has started to give up making sense of the nonsensical goings-on. The season starts with Arnold Ziffel, Hooterville’s smartest pig, winning a trip to Hawaii, and in a later episode travels to Washington to represent the Young Agricultural Society. Oliver hangs out a shingle and Lisa nearly destroys his new practice with her lack of secretarial skills. Haney rents out Oliver and Lisa’s house while they’re on vacation with Eb, and later sells Oliver a horse for Lisa’s birthday that talks named “Mr. Fred.” Lisa ruins a chicken-raising business when she treats them like human children, and a dairy when she insists on finding the perfect bull for a match to the milk cow. And these are just a few moments from this fourth season of one of the funniest classic TV series ever!
