This is the most consistently interesting (and funny) satire of American life that I've seen on television in a decade.
Laura Dern deserves every award known to man for her performance. Brilliant.
I watched the first episode of Enlightened and I ended up watching the entire first season in one afternoon! I wish iTunes could show the episodes from season 2. Amy (Laura Dern) is annoying but brilliant! Mike White does a great job with both his writing and acting. The best part of the show is Timm Sharp, who plays Any's boss, Dougie; a douche but charismatic character who has to keep up with Amy's lack of interest in her job. I smiled, I laughed, I cried, and I remained silent. This show really takes you on a roller coaster of emotions.
