Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse is back for an exciting second season! Caroline (Eliza Dushku) — code name “Echo” — is an “Active,” a member of a highly illegal and underground group of individuals who have had their personalities wiped clean so they can be imprinted with any number of new personas. Last season, Former FBI Agent Paul Ballard, determined to solve the mystery of the Dollhouse and find the missing Caroline, accomplished his goal and was convinced (or was it coerced?) to become Echo’s handler. Dollhouse continues to revolve around Echo’s blossoming self-awareness and her desire to discover her true identity. But with each new engagement comes a new memory and increased danger inside and outside the Dollhouse.

Another Whedon Masterpiece: I hope Joss Never Pulls a Speilberg, or a Lucas

Everything Joss Whedon ever does, hooks me for the long haul, and that includes Dollhouse. I love it. From the concept, to the characters to the stories they find themselves in. I love the ride. Dollhouse is a perfect blend of Episodic and Anthology. Big arcs and little arcs, all weaving in and out, and compelling us to continue watching. I have never watched anything he has ever done that has not had me begging for more, Dollhouse is no exception to that trend thus far. I do have a nagging fear that it can't last for ever. I hope however, that it does. Thank you Fox for not pulling a Firefly on this one (thus far), I hope you learned your lesson.

I am really glad Dollhouse got a second season and I'm looking forward to what's next.

The Brilliance of Joss

Cheers for the Underdog! I am excited for the darker sophomore season that will be the brainchild of Joss. The lined up guest stars are keeping me on my toes. I hope I'm not setting myself up for disappointment, but my expectations are high for hopes of a third season.
