Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse is back for an exciting second season! Caroline (Eliza Dushku) — code name “Echo” — is an “Active,” a member of a highly illegal and underground group of individuals who have had their personalities wiped clean so they can be imprinted with any number of new personas. Last season, Former FBI Agent Paul Ballard, determined to solve the mystery of the Dollhouse and find the missing Caroline, accomplished his goal and was convinced (or was it coerced?) to become Echo’s handler. Dollhouse continues to revolve around Echo’s blossoming self-awareness and her desire to discover her true identity. But with each new engagement comes a new memory and increased danger inside and outside the Dollhouse.

The Brilliance of Joss

Cheers for the Underdog! I am excited for the darker sophomore season that will be the brainchild of Joss. The lined up guest stars are keeping me on my toes. I hope I'm not setting myself up for disappointment, but my expectations are high for hopes of a third season.

This preview proves exactly why Dollhouse deserves a second season and how amazing the mind of Joss Whedon truly is. I can't wait to see more of the smokin' Eliza Dushku.

Can't believe this stupid show got another season

This is such a stupid show. The premise is stupid, the acting is bad. The very idea of this being a TV series is flawed. What Dollhouse should have been is either a SciFi Channel (excuse me... SYFY) 3-part tele-movie (like the ones they used to do every December before the economy crapped on itself), or a feature film. But not a TV series. Just like “Lost” would never work as a feature film, same way Dollhouse doesn’t work as a series. Dollhouse doesn’t offer us enough mystery, action, coolness, geekness, or distorted perspectives of the reality the way ‘Lost’ so masterfully does. It’s just yet another boring TV show trying to be cool just by using Whedon’s name. This ain’t enough. Whedon must try harder to create something that will last.
