Description

In the freakin' funny fifth season, see lovable Lois jump into bed with Bill Clinton. Get a rare glimpse of smitten Stewie as he hooks up with a very young old flame. Peter alters time so he's married to Molly Ringwald. Brian and Stewie go on a cross-country trip to get Stewie's teddy bear, Rupert, back. Peter becomes a bully and costs Quagmire his job as an airline pilot. Lois becomes mayor and Peter enjoys the perks of being her "first lady." And Peter tells the story of Star Wars in his own demented fashion.

WARNING: Family Guy has been edited!!!!

Overall, it's great to see Family Guy on iTunes. Sadly, the episodes have been edited. For example, Season 5 "Meet the Quagmires". Death grants Peter's wish to go back in time to 1984 (with Brian) when he was 18, but only for one night. At one point, Brian hits on a woman at St. Elmo's Clam (later the Drunken Clam). Her boyfriend (quintessential '80's guy) threatens Brian. He challenges Brian to a fight which Brian accepts, naming the morning of September 11th, 2001 on top of the World Trade Center as the place and time. Obviously, this is in truly bad taste, however, this line was in the original episode and is now edited!! I love the show and even though it crosses the line at least once per episode, the originals should be available, poor taste or not!

TV-14 Version - Beware...

One thing they don't tell you about the iTunes versions is that many of the funny parts of these episodes have been edited out or altered. If you want to see Family Guy the way it's supposed to be, don't buy these episodes.

Why the Bleeping??

The DVDs have not bleeped out the occasional f-bomb, but unfortunately, the episodes from iTunes are censored. The f-bombs that Stewie drops in Season 5 are priceless.
