Description

Jim Caviezel, Michael Emerson and Taraji P. Henson team up in this thought-provoking crime action drama from The Dark Knight’s Jonathan Nolan and J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions (Fringe, Lost, Alias). Set in New York City, with all of its multifaceted elements of justice, this procedural centers on an ex-CIA agent, presumed dead, who partners with a mysterious billionaire to prevent violent crimes. Using data siphoned off the U.S. intelligence agencies’ threat matrix deemed irrelevant to national security — information concerning not terrorism, but violent crimes of a personal nature — the unpredictable former agent Reese and his enigmatic partner, Finch, identify a “person of interest” and set about solving the mystery of the impending crime that person will be involved in. Tapping into the world’s Big Brother–like surveillance network, the shadowy duo knows that something bad is going to happen; it’s their mission to discover what that event will be … and somehow prevent it.

Great show; horrid Warner Brothers

I discovered this show halfway through the season. It's captivating--a bit crime drama, lots of questionable computer intelligence intrigue, mixed with government versus personal privacy issues. Fascinating.

However, I wanted to go back and watch the show from the beginning. It is nowhere to be found. Why? Warner Brothers, who holds the copyright, is not allowing it to be released on the Internet, or on any pay-for-viewing services. This makes it impossible for anyone to (legally) catch up on parts of the show they may have missed. I didn't take off stars for this (not the shows fault), but I think WB is in the dark ages when it comes to releasing its shows. No stars for them.

When is it coming ?!!!
