And so it goes for Tony Soprano, New Jersey mob boss. His capos' mistakes are costing him quality time with his mistress. His daughter's Ivy League education is being compromised by the son of his ex-boss. His own son is doing everything he can to never get into college. His wife is searching for relief from the sins of the family. And as his shrink is quick to remind him, his dearly departed mother continues to cast her shadow over everything that Tony does. It's Season 3 of HBO's Emmy®-winning drama series that takes a realistic, darkly humorous look at the members of a suburban New Jersey family, whose patriarch (James Gandolfini) happens to be a mob boss. As the season begins in the wake of the deaths of Big Pussy and Richie Aprile, the feds make their biggest play yet to nab Tony. But that is the least of Tony's problems as he faces challenges from some tough newcomers, such as fiery hothead Ralph Cifaretto, New York crime boss Johnny Sack and a sexy car saleswoman.

What's With The Missing Episodes?

Now that I am writing this review all 13 episodes show up below but after I get back to the screen where I can actually buy them some are missing. ????

As an organization insider I was never really into gangster flicks as they could never meet the level of hyper stimulation provided by real life experience. I found The Godfather to be rather boring even if historically accurate simply because it was pretty “old school” compared to the complexities of modern crime syndicates. Scarface perked me up a little but it was over too quick. Most of my work takes place at night so I never caught more than a couple minutes of any episode while this show was running but always wished I could have followed it from the beginning or not at all. WOW! Take it from one who knows. This is the real McCoy. I can assure you that the true technical advisors will never be identified for their own safety. If you want to know who really runs things in any major metropolitan city anywhere in the US don’t miss this series. I can’t wait for the rest of the series to become available. It’s like the real thing without even having to leave your cell. Thanks iTunes. Bada Bing the witch is dead. Which old witch? The wicked witch. Bada Bing the wicked witch is dead.
