For years, Bill Henrickson wished for a world free from the corrupt ‘prophet’ of Juniper Creek, Roman Grant. Now that it appears he’s gotten his wish, Bill and his ever-growing family can finally breathe easy…or can they? HBO presents Season Four of this iconic drama series that tells the continuing story of this polygamist businessman (played by Bill Paxton) who lives in suburban Salt Lake City with his three wives (Jeanne Tripplehorn, Chloe Sevigny, Ginnifer Goodwin) and now-nine children. In Season Four, as a new maelstrom of personal issues swirl around him, Bill launches yet another business venture: a Mormon-friendly casino he planned in Season Three with Native American partners. At the same time, Bill eschews a chance to seize the prophet mantle at Juniper Creek in favor of an even more high-profile calling: running for State Senate in Utah!

Thank you HBO!
I only wish season 5 was downloadable on itunes. I almost quit watching after season 3, but decided to give season 4 a try & boy was I blown away! I can only imagine how amazing the final season will be.
Not as good as previous seasons
After watching Season 4 for the first time I have to say that it is not nearly as good as the previous seasons. Everything seemed to be rushed, and each episode introduced several new sub plots, but none of them were ever developed. The worst example of this was in the last episode where a major question was posed - did Barb ever really support the idea of bringing polygamy into their marriage, or did she just go along with it because she was afraid she could not make it on her own (without Bill)? I would love to have heard her answer, but I guess we never will... unless it comes in Season 5?
