Adult Swim's best new show in a while
First off, it's from the same team that did SeaLab 2021, so right there you know it's going to be good. The writing on this superhero parody is full of brilliant rants and absurdist humor as both villian Killface and hero Awesome-X have to deal with things like marketing and budget constraints. And the animation is perfect - it uses the same computer-manipulation style as SeaLab 2021, but with detailed paintings that could come out of a high-end graphic novel.
Out of left field
I downloaded this because it was free, not because I'm necessarily a huge fan of Adult Swim because it's gotten a little too sophomoric these days. However, Frisky Dingo is amazing. The first episode is more of an introduction, and is much more macabre than the rest of the episodes which become increasingly satirical accounts of how real-life (business) problems foible superhero-dom. Killface is possibly my favorite cartoon character since Eric Cartman.
Williams Street has done it again!!
If your a fan of Sea Lan 2021, than you will love Frisky Dingo. This is one of the best shows out right now on Adult Swim. The characters are played by a lot of the same actors from Sea Lab. Either way you should download this free episode, I promise it will make you laugh!
