Ten millennials, seeking funding for their business ideas, enroll in an eccentric billionaire Tim Draper's university for entrepreneurs. After receiving mixed reviews for her business, Erin struggles in the program.

The students "hack" at and create a brand new business idea. They only have 36 hours to do it: Who will be able to stand the pressure?

The students are sorted into teams and given their first team challenge: to create a Chain Reaction machine. Also as the students face their first pivot meeting, Keyonna struggles with her business and her new teammates.

The students are tasked with selling men's and women's underwear, but Tony uses family connections, frustrating other students and the staff.

The staff becomes frustrated with Shawn's dual business plans. As the students face their second pivot, Ana hears upsetting news from home, compounding the pressure on her to succeed.

The students test their strength and stamina as they endure the grueling challenges of Survival Week. Tempers flare between teammates Keyonna and Sharon as the rigorous week wears on them.
