Trained to handle the most hostile environments, this team is comprised of former special operations soldiers who capitalize on their knowledge and understanding of surveillance to accomplish impossible missions with limited resources. Watch as the soldiers of Shadow Force take on private military contracts to help fight crime in the most desperate places in the world, and use their skills of unconventional warfare and tactics to turn the tide and win against all odds. The first real insight into the controversial but rapidly evolving world of private military operations, Shadow Force follows six surveillance specialists on legally sanctioned, covert intelligence-gathering operations. The missions are real, the dangers extreme and the consequences deadly.
|1||Closed CaptioningVideoPirate Strike||The team has deployed to Monrovia harbor to set up maritime operations and combat piracy. With no roads leading into Liberia and no law enforcement, the harbor is the focal point for crime. The team needs to covertly gather information on the criminals who control the harbor, and set up the capability to fight them. There is one big catch: they have to do it while living in the harbor amongst them. If the criminal gangs catch on to what they are doing, it will become a very dangerous place.||44:29||$1.99||View in iTunes|

|5||Closed CaptioningVideoGhost Ship||Liberia has no Navy or ability to patrol its waters. President George bush is set to visit in two weeks, and a ship has been acting strangely just off the coast of the US Embassy and the city of Monrovia. The Liberian Government and the embassy want it gone. The team is asked to investigate the ship and take it down. As they start to run surveillance on the ship, she moves several times then disappears. Foreign spy ships often use rust buckets as cover. |6||Closed CaptioningVideoDark Zones||The team joins forces with a small conservancy unit in Kenya near the border of Ethiopia. The team sets up GPS panic buttons and provides the tactics needed to stop the tribal wars before they spin out of control.||44:31||$1.99||View in iTunes|
|7||Closed CaptioningVideoGorilla War||Poachers are killing the rare Gorillas of Congo, and they are paying Rwanda's genocidal maniacs to protect them while they practice their deadly trade. For the park rangers protecting the Gorillas, it's all out war and they are heavily outnumbered. The team brings in special communications equipment that allow the rangers to track the Gorilla populations and call for help when they run into rebels. In Congo, this kind of equipment gives the edge to anyone who has it, and the team soon finds out that it is being targeted by "other" agencies. It's a race against the clock to get the equipment into the hands of the park rangers and show them how to tactically hide it during combat operations, and keep it away from others who may be trying to steal it.||44:27||$1.99||View in iTunes|

The team joins forces with a unit positioned to protect one of the larger refugee camps. They go on live patrols and bring in equipment and tactics that give the protection units the edge. In this war-torn environment, they are the only thing that saves the camps from a massacre.||44:25||$1.99||View in iTunes|

Very interseting and entertaining show if you're into the "Soldier of Fortune" sort of things. Too bad you can't buy the season in advance, but iTunes on occasion is late when releasing each episode.
Worst show ever!
Completely uneventful. It's as if they had only 5 minutes of really boring, actionless material & were told to make a 45 minute show by streching it out, recaping what just happend every five minutes & adding a ton of useless filler. Also if you ignore my review & watch the episode Ghost Ship you can see how they take a night vision camera that is designed to be used for around 50 yards & spend forever getting to the top of an abandoned hotel to try to see a ship miles off shore & are suprised all they can see is a dot on the screen that might be the ship. What did they (real soldiers of fortune LOL) expect to see with this camera on a ship miles away? That scene sums up the whole series; an absolute waste of time. They spend the whole show trying to hype everything up by telling you everything they're doing is dangerous. It is really the worst show I have ever seen & more than likely will be the worst show you've ever seen too. Actually I hope you do watch at least the episode Ghost Ship so I can read your reviews & see if you noticed what I did & also if you found it as humorously pathetic as I did.
Lame, lame, lame!!!
History Channel usually has high standards... not this time. Regarding "Pirate Strike": fake crisis, no real action. A group of curious onlookers is a dangerous mob? A fishing vessel dragging its nets too close to shore is a dangerous pirate ship? Come on... the team even admits that it is just working for the Liberian Department of Argiculture!!! Ridiculous....
