Starting seventh grade can be a challenge, but for Riley Matthews there’s an added complication; her history teacher is also her dad! But with her best friend Maya at her side, along with friends Lucas and Farkle, they’re ready to take on the world. When Maya leads a rebellion in class, Riley joins in, much to Cory's dismay. Cory is fed up with the kids texting during class so he confiscates their phones to teach them how to communicate face to face. And Riley becomes jealous when Missy starts flirting with Lucas, so she enlists Maya and Farkle's help to figure out how to flirt! Together they learn that growing up and taking on the world will be a big challenge…for everyone.

It needs work but it’s got potential

Personally I find this too “Disney’d” doesn’t give the same feeling as BMW and the acting is cheesy. They should also replace Farkle and I’d say even Riley, Maya was good but the other 2 kids acting is just not believable and too cheesy.

Just not good

I can’t believe this is the same team that wrote the original Boy Meets World show because the writing for this show is horrible. If it is the same team, then Disney must have had their hands on everything. Everything is a joke grab. There are so many conversations that just don’t flow and make sense because a punch line joke is implanted. The actors are caricatures of themselves. Everything is over the top and again, is just for a joke. If anyone likes the new shows on Disney, then they will like this show. But if you watch an old episode of Boy Meets World, then you can tell that the tone, jokes, and overall feeling is different. This show is made for little kids who haven’t formed their own opinions yet. To bad they couldn’t capture the writing of the older, much better, Disney shows: Boy Meets World, Sister Sister, Smart Guy, etc.

Stays true to BMW

Fantastic show. I've seen 3 tapings of it plus the pilot. It stays true to Boy Meets World while also giving it it's own life in Girl Meets World. I'm 30 and will be watching Disney Channel to watch it :)
