Hannah and her friends are just four girls trying to figure out what they want--from life...from men...from themselves. In Season 1 of this coming-of-age comedy series, Hannah (Lena Dunham) struggles to achieve her dream of becoming a successful writer in the wake of being cut off financially by her parents. Fortunately, she has three close friends for support--Marnie (Allison Williams), Jessa (Jemima Kirke), and Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet)--in this intimate and often-comical look at friendship, relationships and self-discovery.

This could be one of the worst shows ever produced. The writing is horrid, the acting is terrible, and it is about as humorous as running a vacuum cleaner. I don't get all the accolades this abomination gets... Oh wait, I do. Nepotism.

This show is awesome, it is cleverly written and has great acting! I can't wait for season 2! Hats off to Lena Dunaham!

Interesting and fun.

A fun, through-someone-else's-eyes living-in-NYC experience, and an interesting take on growing up and learning along the way. If you liked How To Make It In America type shows, this is a good one for you. I loved it, and am really looking forward to season 2. Except for the unlikeable Jemima/Jessa (she's as unlikeable in real life) all the characters are either interesting or awesome. Zosia Mamet is hysterical. Highly recommend.
