The girls are back! Returning for its sophomore season, the hit HBO comedy series from writer/director/star Lena Dunham continues to follow the lives of aspiring 20-something writer Hannah Horvath (Dunham) and her complicated web of New York City friends, ex-friends, boyfriends, and ex-boyfriends. In Season 2, Hannah forges ahead in her writing career and begins seeing someone new, but her enthusiasm is tempered by the responsibility she feels for her now-ex Adam--convalescing after his Season 1 finale accident--and the pressures of the publishing business. Meanwhile, Jessa, Marnie and Shoshanna makes strides in their own relationships and jobs, though the bumps they encounter remind them that they still have a lot to learn.

Not that bad
It had its ups and downs but it sure was way hilarious than season one. Besides the show exploring dark territory, the acting wasn't bad and it had its golden moments. 10 episodes seem way short for something that can develop so much more but it's worth watching. It is not your typical show so if you're looking for some Gossip Girl drama this is definitely not for you.
Am I missing something? Why can't I download single episodes?...I love this show, but just wanna catch up on what I missed and I am traveling out of the country...
Season two was...random. It had some obvious story lines that <sort of> continued, but by in large, there was just a lot of weird random stuff. The Doctor episode was so bizarre, I honestly thought Hannah was going to wake-up at the end of it, the entire episode having been a dream (...or nightmare!).
Season 2 seemed really contrived. Season 3 needs to return to the fresh, organic ways of Season 1 or I am breaking up with the Girls.
