Entering its fourth season, Glee is a musical comedy about a group of ambitious and talented kids who escape the harsh realities of high school by joining a glee club where they find strength, acceptance and, ultimately, their voice. This year, the members of New Directions compete amongst themselves to be the "new Rachel" and hold open auditions to find a fresh crop of students. Meanwhile, the graduating class leaves the comforts of McKinley for the real world where Rachel struggles to please her demanding NYADA teacher (Kate Hudson) and Kurt second-guesses his decision to stay in Lima. Four newcomers also join the musical comedy when it returns this fall. Golden Globe® Award winner and Academy Award® nominee Kate Hudson will join the cast in a six-episode arc. In her first return to television since "Sex in the City," Emmy® Award-winning actress and fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker also will guest-star this season.

NEW BEGINNINGS FOR NEW DIRECTIONS!
Now that the majority of the original glee club members have graduated from McKinley and are going their separate ways, it should be interesting to see where the series goes from here. With Rachel and Kurt in NYC and the remaining members of New Directions scouting for new recruits, it's already apparent that plenty of major changes are heading our way this season. New characters, new dilemmas, and a whole catalogue of songs just waiting to be covered by the cast. My only hope is that the writing will be more improved than last season, but based on the premiere episode, it looks like that shouldn't be much of an issue. Overall, I'm really excited for this season. "Glee" has always been supremely entertaining since the beginning, and I just can't wait to see what new surprises are in store. On a different note, if you plan on buying the season pass, purchase it in SD. It's much cheaper and not that much of a difference in quality anyway.
I was ready to give up on Glee after the last couple of seasons but after seeing the first show of season 4 my faith in the show was renewed. Love what they are doing with Kurt and Rachel. Great job!!!
