This is my favorite series, but it's not for all tastes. It is more quiet and contemplative than most other anime, making what violence there is more extreme. It quieter pace allows one to think more about what the animator is saying.
By the same director as Serial Experiment Lain, who we just lost.
This show is great to watch if you enjoy thinking and questioning life. It brings up a great story and adventure for the viewers. There will be bloodshed, but it's a great show to watch.
Not too far into it but...
I've really enjoyed this show so far. It's definitely a one of a kind series and one I look forward to carrying through. It takes a little bit more serious tone that most anime shows I've seen, but there's heart in the story and characters.
