HISTORY surveys the unpredictability, fear, horror and heroism of the greatest war of the 20th century in this comprehensive collection. Five programs detail the epic battle, from stunning aerial missions 30,000 feet in the air, to one of the most complex regimes of recent history, the Nazis, and the three Russian brothers who helped 1,200 men, women and children escape them, as well as the soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines whose courage, quick thinking and sacrifice helped pave the way to Allied victory.

Home Run, with WWII History Specials!

I enjoyed this series tremendously. I hope History Specials has several follow ups. This was actual footage that is the undisputed teacher showing exactly what this great nation called The United States of America requires to keep our people safe, free, caring and generous. Someone said in our history books, quote, Freedom Is Not Free, unquote, all Americans must be willing to fight and sadly die to keep America the greatest nation in the Universe as she is, Free and with Liberty. Our USA Constitution I believe was written with the guidence and helping hand of God. If you like none altered stories of WWII you will love these episodes. Some parts of the footage show disturbing scenes, be cautous with the little ones being exposed to the death parts of the video.
Thank you History Specials,

Pretty great in my opinion….

I love the Third Reich Rise/Fall episodes the most. So much in fact that I downloaded the episodes free on YouTube…get it? They are interesting and informative, but occasionally a little too melodramatic.

The Third Reich episodes were tasteless

and I regret spending money on them. Take perfectly good historical footage, and ruin it with "edgy cuts", totally unnecessary foley/melodramatic narration, and Silent Hill filters. Any one of those would've been bad enough, but tolerable. All three, though? Really? Wow.
