Modern Jane Austin
It is the story of everyday lives caught up in the coming juggernaut of war. I feel as though this type of show won't get much attention though, the story of these rural townspeoples' foibles are not big enough or twisted enough for modern tastes. The acting is perfect, I think the writing is very well done, an accurate depiction of the best and worst of ourselves facing the calamity of war.
Should be 5 stars
FIVE STARS for this excellent series as it was originally aired. Top-notch acting, compelling story lines, theme music that runs through your head at the oddest moments… but these iTunes episodes have been edited. A little cut here and a little splice there, which is why I lopped off a star for this review.
Love this show it's def one of my favs
