Human Target, Season 1HDClosed Captioning

Open iTunes to preview or buy TV shows.

From executive producer McG (Terminator Salvation) and using the popular DC Comics title as a springboard for riveting and intelligent action and adventure, Human Target provides a thrill ride with no clear boundaries. Mark Valley (Fringe, Boston Legal) stars as Christopher Chance, a mysterious security agent for hire who assumes different identities, at times literally becoming a human target on behalf of his clients. Assisted by his business partner, Winston (Chi McBride – Pushing Daisies; Boston Public; I, Robot), and associate/hired gun, Guerrero (Jackie Earle Haley – upcoming The Nightmare on Elm Street, Watchmen, Little Children), Chance puts himself directly in the line of fire, racing against the clock before his client's time runs out. But does anyone know who Chance really is? What would make a man willingly become a human target?

The TV Show Equivalent of a Ginormous Adrenaline Rush

I can't say I've had so much fun watching a TV show in a long, long time. It's also one that's very hard to criticize. It never feels like it's going too slowly, and it kept me completely interested throughout. I am a HUGE fan of Mark Valley's previous work (Boston Legal, which is also one of the best shows formerly on television, and his guest episodes on Fringe), and his character here is very likable and acted quite well, as well as are the other characters. I was also surprised to see Chi McBride on the show, an actor who I admired greatly in Pushing Daisies, and I'm glad that he has another great guest starring role on another show.

As far as flaws go, I guess technically speaking, at least at the moment, the show doesn't seem to have much more behind it than the over the top action and stunt sequences, but the show is still very early on in it's production and has plenty of time to flesh out it's characters. Either way, be honest with yourself, if you've seen the show you can't deny that you're having a great time. I greatly look forward to what the show will bring us next. Give me some more backstory to the characters, and I'm afraid there won't be much else to criticize after the already strong debut. Keep it up!

This show is sooo cool. It kept me at the edge of my seat. 

Great all-action show.

Most shows can't pull off the all-action and still have a good story look. This was a thrill ride beginning to end and still gave me the picture of what's happening. Great father/son time if you ask me.
