VERY enjoyable - An Excellent New Show
While the word of mouth for this show hasn't been as wide-spread as it should be, Jericho offers a great new show with some interesting characters trying to survive during what could possibly be a major nuclear upheaval or maybe even the end of the world. Skeel Ulrich is good, the cast is interesting, and I'm looking forward to the next episodes to see what they can offer. Spread the word - Jericho is worth watching.
I caught the Premier episode on TV, actually, and I was not expecting to be sucked in so fast. With a drama like this one, WHAT has happened isn't so important as how the characters react to it and how it affects them and their lives. In shows like this one, if the acting is not up to par and the writing isn't top notch then it is easy to lose interest (like Invasion for example). Jericho has an excellent cast that knows how to do their jobs. Even the kids are very good actors. The writing is tight and things flow very well. The thing I look forward to seeing is how they handle the science of the situation... fallout, food, other survivors, government response (if any) and so on. That's where they will lose me if they simply manufacture magic solutions to the tough problems. But for now. So far, so very good. I am already looking forward to the next episode.
Great, But Should've Been Free
The pilot is excellent! However, to increase awareness and popularity of the new show, iTunes should be offering this episodes free. However, that does not diminish the fact that the show is worth watching.
