The ineffable Tim Gunn brings his thoughtful and considerate mentoring skills to the people who wear the clothes, after guiding those who make them in Project Runway. It's hard for me to find the words to express how much I enjoy and admire this show. These are transformations on an emotional par with "The Biggest Loser": taking women who have drowned their sense of style in the name of comfort. I love what Tim and his co-hosts are able to do, taking the participants bra shopping (for that essential good foundation), and coaching them to rid themselves of things that don't do them justice so they can have room in their wardrobes for things that make them look fabulous. No matter what size, no matter what budget, these gals end up with a glow at the end that shows they've turned a corner and let their best selves shine through. This is what television should always be like. No hype, relatively few promotional plugs (hey, if a department store is providing free clothes, they deserve some air time) ... I could watch it every day. Tim, will you make more? Please?
