The old fashioned Nick shows
I really do think that this is a very brilliantly created show that deserves applause. I wish that they showed more old fashioned shows like these, Scooby Doo, and Tom and Jerry. It deserves at least 4 stars, but since I have so many wonderful memories of these kinds of shows, I give it 5.
All the episodes have a great moral. I watched this show when I was younger.
I Miss the Good Old Days
I grew up hooked on Eliza and her wild adventures. I cannot tell you how I cried when I found out they had cancelled this show. A show that was overtly educational and fun to watch at the same time. I tell you I learned more from this show about animals and the world, than I ever did from any textbook. Why? Because learning was fun, wacky, and always included an adventure. If learning was more fun for children, then I think more of them would do better in school. My favorite episode was Matadi or Bust. Eliza was a much better influence on children; honestly what does a whiney crazy yellow sponge teach you, except bad manners and inappropriate ways of conducting yourself in public. But really what must I know considering January 2009 that show will have been running for TEN years. It’s really a wonder why the world has become so retarded. Nickelodeon runs for nine hours a day before switching to Nick at Night, 5 of those hours are dedicated entirely to Spongebob Squarepants. The day that show is removed from air waves I will throw a party in the streets. I miss the classics.
