Description

Spider-Man. X-Men. The Hulk. Fact isn't far from fiction in Stan Lee's Superhmans. The creator of legendary superheroes, series co-host Stan Lee seeks out real life, superhuman counterparts — people whose remarkable powers stem from being genetically different. Lab tests help explain their extraordinary physical abilities. And stories from long-recorded history prove that people like these have always walked among us. Dubbed the most flexible man in the world, series host David Browning Smith adds unique understanding through his personal experience.

Great Show

this show is just so interesting, cool, shocking, mind-boggling, and so many other things. I cant till the season finishes

nice show but more science?

I really like this show because it introduces you to all of theese people who can do amazing things. but they don't get terribly deep into the science of why. in fact as soon as they've barely convinced me (or really haven't) thath the person can do anything extraordinary its on to the next one. why not spend some time to get to better explain and understand what they do? do three people an episode instead of 5. this is more like an extreme talent show than anything else. i was too amazed by the people in the first episode, but after that it kind of bothered me more and more.

Hype with Lameness

Super humans?
Basically, they have ONE interesting guy per episode, and 3 Lame ones. Mostly it's Circus Freaks who eat glass, or people who have dangerous jobs.
Examples of COOL are the Japanese guy who can cut flying BBs with his sword, or a guy who can take more G-force then normal.
Examples of Lame are the guy who wears bees (we all seen it), the guy eats glass (seen it), escape artist (seen it), Kung Fu Board breaking (yawn).
I'm surprised they didn't include the polar-bear club, Parkour, or the guys who hang themselves on hooks for meditation.
I was hoping to see a guy who could hold his breath for 5 minutes, the magnet guy, a skinny guy who can lift a car, or some dude who can catch a fly with 2 fingers.
Come on.... "controlling a swarm of bees"? really? he puts a queens pheromone on himself, and they gather on him. I want to see him make the swarm fly around him, then attack a dummy, then return to their hive. I don't care if he uses sound, body language, or a machine, but give orders. If I told you I can control a shark, and then threw a fish head in the water, and it ate it, THAT is not the shark under my control.

On top of all that, they have this burned film effect that constantly gets used. Yeah, great. You can use Premier Film effect, on your video. Wow. But to constantly have the center of the frame burned out is annoying. The constant 6 frame flashes of a Close up, or Superhero cut into the regular video is also a headache.
Just not worth the 45 minutes.
If you ever seen Ripley's Believe it or Not...... you don't need to see this. This is THAT without the gross acts.
