Based on the popular British format, The Fairy Jobmother follows international career specialist Hayley Taylor as she helps severely job-challenged families get back on payroll. Using her trademark no-nonsense approach and tough love tactics, Taylor assists families struggling with unemployment by confronting the unspoken truths responsible for placing them into their current situations. Closely assessing every area of each family’s life – from relationship breakdowns to how they present themselves in public and the homes they keep – Taylor helps them face the harsh realities of why they are unemployed and get them back on the road to financial and emotional recovery. By the end of each episode, Taylor transforms their lives, not only with the opportunity of employment on the horizon, but a different attitude toward themselves and their family members.

Honest and Heartwarming
I watched the first episode and was impressed by the way the couple opened themselves up to Taylor's constructive criticism regarding such a difficult and personal situation (having low self-esteem, being depressed and on welfare and letting the world see your dirty dishes and dog poop in the bedroom.. that takes guts!!) Taylor is commanding and maternal at the same time- a great combo of traits for someone in her life-coach role. Overall this show was uplifting and informative for anyone who is considering getting back on the job search. It gave me compassion for these two good and kind people who just needed some hope. Going through the grueling job application and interview process to obtain a minimum-wage job and getting rejected time after time can NOT be easy and these people deserve a lot of kudos for putting their story out there.
Excellent show! Perfect timing!
This is really good! There are pointers even for those of us that are still working.
