Description

A comedy about three divorced men sharing an apartment across the hall from their female divorce attorney, who is also their landlord. The "never been married" Holly (Kristen Johnston) introduces her newest single client Stuart (David Alan Basche) to his new roommates -- ladies' man Phil (Donald Faison) and the sardonic homebody, Haskell (Wayne Knight). Things get off to a shaky start for Phil and Haskell when they begin to have reservations about living with clingy Stuart, but Holly is right across the hall to help them steer clear of any catastrophes. After all, it helps her to avoid her own relationship and commitment issues! To top it all off, Holly's hard-partying assistant Eden (Kelly Stables), doesn't let her professionalism get in the way of prying into her boss's personal life. Through the episodes, the guys begin to realize that the issues they have with each other are the same ones that they had with their ex-wives.

I know why the pilot was free...

What a terrible show. I got about two minutes into it before I not only turned it off, but deleted it from my library. To say the laugh track is obnoxious would be an understatement. Very disappointed with Donald Faison -- to go from Scrubs to this breaks my heart. One of the first jokes in the series is a (bad) reference to the 2010 World Cup. If you're going to make pop culture jokes, they should probably be at least relevant to the past year (oh and they should be funny). Please, for the love of all that is holy and right in this world, do not waste your time watching this show.

Don't write this off too soon!

I was sceptical about this new show, I am the first to admit that I like a new comedy to be fresh and not contain predictable stupidity!
I must admit that both my wife and I very much enjoyed this new show and it did have some really funny and unheard before one liners! (That kept me laughing beyond where they should have!) so much so I am going to watch it again to see everything I missed on the first watch.
I have high hopes for this and I will simply follow it until it stops making me laugh.

Not bad

Cast seems to have a good chemistry, which is important but this wasn't worth five stars…yet.
It had some funny moments but I expected slightly more judging by the "famous" cast involved.
Not bad at all but needs a boost on the funny (not silly) part.

Regarding laugh tracks: Why do people not like them? Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory have laugh tracks and I love this shows.
I actually don't like shows without laugh tracks but maybe this is an age thing (I'm 46).
