Created by Josh Gates (Destination Truth), Stranded is an all-new reality series that documents an unconventional - and terrifying - paranormal and psychological experiment. Each episode features the self-recorded footage of a diverse group of every-day paranormal enthusiasts - from newlyweds and a brother-in-law to a trio of roommates. Each team of three will be stranded at one of the most haunted locations in America and record the entire experience with hand-held cameras creating a suspenseful, completely unscripted first-hand account of each group's stay. Over the course of the confinement, the group will cope with increasingly pervasive feelings of fear and desolation, resulting in an experiment that represents a unique combination of psychology and the paranormal.

I loved this. I don't know if it is fake or real, It freaked me out, and I will be purchasing the Season Pass. I really need to buy an external hard drive, all these TV Shows Rock!
Like most "paranormal" stuff, it is a whole bunch of nothing...
And I am not a "skeptic". I am open to anything, which is why I watched this, wanting to see SOMETHING, but I saw NOTHING. Like most of these types of shows, the biggest thing you see is people's reactions to stuff they see and can't explain. That doesn't mean it's "ghosts" or anything. You really get pulled in and get the contagious emotions when you see people freaking out. OK, there were noises. The place has an open attic. Birds, animals, anyone? No, if there is a noise, it obviously must be ghosts, and you are required to "believe". That place was wired up with something like 60+ cameras. If there WAS something "unexplainable" going on, leaving those cameras rolling for a few weeks surely would have gotten something on tape, right? Except NOTHING "unexplainable" got recorded. Why? Because this show, like almost all "mystery shows" is selling smoke. They are not interested in ANSWERING any questions. They are interested in suspense, and having you come back for more. Even if they had ALL the answers, they would never show you anything, because then why would you watch the next episode? If questions that are intentionally left unanswered entertain you, this show is for you. This promises to be a long series of teasers with no movie.
Nice spooky show
At the end of the day, a good creepy night vision paranormal hunting show is just supposed to give you the creeps, and Stranded does just that. It reminds me of MTV's long lost FEAR. Though the disclaimer at the beginning of the show says it's "all true", I still get a vibe of "scripted show", but it's still a lot of fun.
