The Johnson brothers, Mike, Anders, Ty, and Axl, are far from ordinary–they are descendants of Norse gods. With the help of his brothers, Axl, as the human incarnation of Odin, must embark upon his life’s quest: to find Frigg, his beloved, in order to rebuild the house of Asgard so that the Gods will rule again—unless their nemeses, the power-hungry Goddesses, can stop the Johnsons and find Frigg first!

I've seen all three seasons and personally really liked it (even though season 2 kind of loses it's way) but I just wanted to warn and confirm for everybody that this is the original and unedited New Zealand version. So if you're expecting the censored Syfy version without cussing, nudity, and sex, then you might not want to buy these. If those don't bother you then go ahead and buy them.
I love anything involving mythology and have been waiting to see this for three years! Can't wait to see it play out!
After making the big mistake of leaving Asgard thousands of years ago to walk amongst mortals, who promptly began burning down their villages, the Norse gods bravely ran away… to New Zealand. The Brothers Johnson are the living incarnations of the gods; Baldr, Ullr, Bragi, Höðr, (and much to Axl’s surprise on his 21st birthday) Odin.
This is a fantastic series, that ran for three seasons down under, has gained a huge cult following and I’m so pleased to see it finally making it to the states.
This Almighty Johnsons (though at times not appropriate for young viewers) has everything the SciFi fan wants in a series: Action, Drama, Comedy… good story lines and surprising plot twists.
In a sentence: Season One of The Almighty Johnsons is well worth the price. You won’t be disappointed. (Okay, that was two sentences.)
