Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution, Season 2TV-PGClosed Captioning

Open iTunes to preview or buy TV shows.

Jamie Oliver is raising the stakes for his Food Revolution by bringing it to one of America's biggest cities, Los Angeles. However, when LAUSD, the nation's second largest school district, slams the door in his face and prohibits him from entering, he immediately has to rethink his approach. Jamie's first order of business is to gain the support of the parents and teachers in the community. He opens a kitchen in Westwood, where he provides educational tools to encourage healthier eating and expose what’s really in school lunches and food that’s eaten every day. He also performs dramatic health-related demonstrations to spread awareness in the community and combat the obesity epidemic. Although his efforts don’t always have the wide spread effect he is hoping for, Jamie doesn’t lose heart and he continues to lead a revolution!

Great Idea

I like how he's bringing what he did in the UK to the US. We need all of the help we can get. I remember high school. The cafeteria would serve pizza for breakfast. Tater tots were a staple. Ketchup...a MUST.

How about putting on some of his other shows like The Naked Chef or Pukka Tukka or Jamie at Home or ALL of them? He has great, simple recipes. I like how Jamie puts together a quick meal that's usually quite healthy. I've even seen the Barefoot Contessa and Martha Stewart use what he's done during his first season of The Naked Chef and act like they're introducing it to the masses. Olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon go a long way for many things. I love how his idea of the best kitchen tool is a mortar and pestle. He's so cool!
