A Sophomore Season with no slump in sight...
Season Two is off to a great start. There were sight-gags galore in the opening segment. It appears they obtained and used some expensive equipment, and used it to great effect. They expanded the Obama impression in to another realm, taking a partially fictional(?) look at his past. They nailed the "worn-out VHS tape" look in this segment, which recurs throughout the episode. They also baffle some Civil War re-enactors, with a "gotcha" ending. Of course, everything is glued together with their stand-up observations in front of a small, live audience, a formula that served them well in Season One. I can't wait to see what they have in store for the rest of this Season. If you are new to this show, you should marathon through Season One to get yourself acquainted with their greatness before proceeding with this Season.
