I was looking forward to my favorite comedy series, The Office, and My favorite drama, Grey's. I heard they were premeiring on the same day. Back to back. I knew that this season of Grey's must be good. We were of course left with the cliffhangers last year. McVet or McDreamy? Will Izzie get better? I hoped these questions would get answered in Time Has Come Today. They, and many more. Told through a normal episode, with 4 plots all happening at once, and flashbacks from Meredith, Derek, Addison, Burke, Yang, Karev, and all of our favorite characters. It was an amazing episode. By the cast, the director, the crew, right down to the music selection team. Why do we love this show? Because in all of us, there's part of a character. Be it Meredith, Bailey, Derek, Webber, or even Joe the Bartender, we can relate. Turn on the TV and you see Law and Order. Don't get me wrong, I love the show. but how many of you out there are police officers, lawyers, or criminals? The problem with most dramas, (Law and Order included) is the focus on story, but not character. Most of us aren't surgical interns. But most of us love someone, and most of us have done something we regret. and some of us have had an affair, and some of us love someone that we can't have. These people on the television screen are actors, but they can convince us that they're more than that. This show is amazing, and it truly is the best show out there right now. All in all-- 5 stars. Buy it. Or catch it Thursdays on ABC.
I've been waiting for iTunes to have Grey's Anatomy, and finally the time has come! This is one of the best shows on TV right now, because it's entertaining, emotional, and it explores the feelings that we all experience in our own lives. Check it out if you haven't already seen it, just make sure you start with season 1.
Wow. This is the best TV show ever. No wonder it won this year's Golden Globes. It has it all- drama, humor, romance, friendships, suspense, and so much more. It really is a great story plotline. Each character has his or her own story to tell, and everybody gets connected with a character. You really get sucked into the lives or these surgical interns, residents, attendings, patients, all of them. It is a definitley worth watching every week on Thursdays, 9/8 C on ABC. I think this show is even worth buying on iTunes. I don't recommend this that often, but when I do, it is must be a really good show. Even when you can see it on abc.com for free, it is still worth the money to be able to see it whenever on your iPod. I have even bought the entire Season 2 Uncut on DVD. I think it would also be nice if iTunes could get the two main music videos for Grey's Anatomy- How to Save a Life and Chasing Cars. I would really like that. For those of you who gave it less that a 4 star rating, you should really give it a shot. It may be very confusing to just randomly start watching it one day as it is like a story and you may need a lot of catching up. I guarantee you will like it if you knew the entire story. After all, it did not win Golden Globes Best TV Drama for nothing.
