It's About Time!
Unlike many fans of the show, I think this is one of the The L Word's best seasons as far as storytelling and pacing. Several characters had definite story arcs that were built upon by each succeeding episode. This was the darkest season overall but there are some laugh out loud moments courtesy of Alice and some lovely character moments with the entire cast. I'm so glad The L Word is finally available on iTunes!
This is undeniably the heaviest season of The L Word. Prepare yourself for agony the whole way through, because fans really feel their own hearts breaking alongside the characters'. However, I believe this season's finale is the most beautiful of all four thus far.
Least Favorite Season
Season 3 was my least favorite season. I don't want to give all the reasons why though. I think you should see for yourself. Every episode of The L Word is worth viewing once, so this is essential viewing. Though I have to say when this season was running on Showtime, even with the multiple repeats during the week of each episode, I had no desire to go back and watch of any of the episodes, except for the flashback one. That one was good. Like I said before, it's worth seeing. The characters are great, and all the actors do a great job. Especially, Leisha Hailey. She carried the season like a souljah! She was the saving grace. Go ahead and buy it :) Season 4 more than makes up for it!
