In 2004 Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman embarked on an epic Long Way Round challenge, to bike 20,000-miles, cross 12 countries and 19 time zones in just 115 days. Riding motorcycles they crossed Europe, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan and Mongolia to ride the Road of Bones through Siberia, over to Alaska, through Canada, North America and finished in New York. Long Way Round is the result of their adventures - a fascinating, frank and highly entertaining series about two friends riding round the world together and, against all the odds, realizing their dream.

Absolutely LOVED it!
This was FANtastic. I absolutely LOVED it. So many things. But perhaps most especially the beautiful relationship between Charly and Ewan. It was fascinating getting a close up view of the love and friendship they share. I have rarely seen such total support with not a hint of true competitiveness among men. How refreshing!
Inspiring entertaining just great to follow and watch them go round the world
