Passionate foodie Adam Richman is on a hunger quest to find the most mouth-watering pig-out joints in the United States. In food towns across America, Adam will settle down in legendary local eating establishments, getting to know the staff and patrons and uncovering the secrets that make each restaurant such a must-visit. Each week, Adam closes out his visit by taking up his real mission: identifying a local food challenge designed to challenge man's gastronomic limits. Adam is no competitive eater — he’s just a regular guy with a serious appetite, making his feats all the more impressive as he races against the clock and stretches the limits of the human stomach to polish off these monster challenges. This isn't your average stuff your face eating contest. If it were, I wouldn't be watching. Adam Richman goes on a mission to tour of his favorite eateries and takes on their existing food challenges. Eat a 72 oz steak with sides in under an hour, an 8 lb burger with all the fixin's, spicy wings, a pizza as big as a table top... Adam makes a great host. He jokes with the patrons, goes behind the scenes with the owners to learn how the food is made,and lastly, tries to tackle the food of the week. Who will come out victorious, The Man or The Food?

This is a very entertaining show. Interesting host, great places that they visit, and the food challenges make great viewing. The show takes us to a variety of cities in the U.S. where the host jokes with restauranteurs and diners and samples famous local eats. Please keep bringing us great content like this.
I thought The Travel Channel could no longer top Andrew Z's Bizzarre Foods. And now comes this one. Its refreshing to see the different neighborhoods. And Adam is very likeable. Even if he does not win all the time. I have a serious Man Crush on him now.
