Superstar defense attorney Theodore "Teddy" Hoffman is the man everyone wants on their side. But even he's surprised to find himself defending one man for murder, then a few hours later defending a different man for the same murder. The first man arrested is Richard Cross, an entrepreneur-philanthropist who's having an affair with the murder victim's older sister. After the charges against him are dropped, Neil Avedon, a hot young Hollywood actor, is charged with the crime. Yet as Hoffman delves deeper into the case, his gut instinct tells him Cross is still secretly involved, deftly manipulating witnesses and even terrorizing Hoffman's own family.

Murder One - Smart Television
Nicely done... Shows like this one don't last more than two or three seasons because it's THINKING TV, and honestly, a show like this doesn't need to last that long to truly make it's mark. The whole season takes you through a process and it requires a great deal of thought and intrigued to follow that process. Shows like this and 24, Prime Suspect or even CSI with its stand alone episodes, are a rare breed among say, The Simpsons, Family Guy and King Of The Hill. This is a great show! Superb casting! Intelligent and concise writing! Definitely not for everyone. Still, people should try it from the first episode and see it through.
Murer One is A+ One
This is a great series. Each episode is loaded with information , stories that all intertwine in one law office. Great writing --recommend it highly - brilliantly written and acted
Before 24, Vanished, Kidnapped or Justice...There was Murder One!
The iTunes options are indeed getting better and better! This masterpiece of a drama series was not only a trailblazing series, it brought forth a sense of Shakespearean storytelling that you just don't see in today's TV shows (Unless it's on PBS)! ONE CASE followed over an entire season! Great performances, a grip of guest-stars, many twists and turns until the very end! Daniel Benzali does a great job as the intense Teddy Hoffman and Stanley Tucci almost makes you want to root for the bad guy! This show lasted two seasons, but it left a legacy of shows that would take on the same "real time" format! Great show! Truly Bochco's finest moment next to Hill Street Blues!
