FALSE advertising and obvious Descendants rip off

First off, the plot is a literal carbon copy of the plot for the film Descendants and there’s obvious influence that they’ve taken from that film in this one “like the color palette” having a good guy vs evil demonization at school (Descendants Auradon kids and VKs, Zombies Zombies vs Poms(???)) and the message that “it doesn’t matter where you came from and people shouldn’t be judged” which was copied and pasted onto this film from descendants. Also got with the false ads saying this was made “from the brains behind Descendants 1 & 2” which is completely false bs. The people behind TEEN BEACH MOVIE are behind this, the only “brains” behind Descendants is Kenny Ortega and a close female Team that make up the scripts and costumes for that franchise, Kenny has nothing to do with this mess. It’s so laughably obvious that Disney is trying to make this be the “next Big thing” by copying the footsteps of their latest success in the descendants franchise and I hope it backfires in their face. Aside from this, this movie looks like a hot mess, dcoms these days(minus Descendants 1&2 and a few good ones that have slipped by) aren’t all that they used to be since films like Cheetah girls and High school musical. This film isn’t the direction they should want to be going in

Don’t Judge a Movie by its Trailer!!!

Just from watching the trailer, you think this movie is going to be a bust. I thought this movie was going to be a rip off of High School Musical, and Descendants. Yes, it does have the same type of plot line, but it’s completely different in its own way. In ways it reminded me of High School Musical (the greatest Disney channel movie of all time) Zombies was a love story, two people trying to figure life out in their own ways. The trailer makes you think this movie is going to be a flop like past Disney Channel movies have. But it’s sooo not!!! You definitely have to watch the full movie to get the full story. Sometimes, the full story can’t be seen in a 2 minute trailer...or in this case the true story wasn’t shown in the 2 minute trailer.

The movie is actually a classic love story, and they made it fit into the movie really well. That’s what I expect from the brains behind Descendants. I don’t know if someone from the crew of High School Musical worked on this movie but it definitely had the feelings of being the next high school musical. Yes, a story about a football player Zombie, and a wannabe Cheerleader may sound very cheesy, but they made it work.

The acting was awesome, and the music was actually pretty good. The only thing that bothered me about it was the lip syncing. Some people were great at it, and some people you could tell were lip syncing, which makes it look very very unnatural.

Meg Donnelly who plays the main character, is definitely a new Dove Cameron or Vanessa Hudgins of Disney. Her voice is amazing, and I enjoyed her dancing. Just wished It could have featured more of her tricks. In the movie she does a side aerial, and what seemed like a back tuck or back handspring. You couldn’t really tell because the camera didn’t catch the whole thing. I’m not sure if that was a stunt double, or that was her, but if it was her, I would have been cool to see more. She definitely has the making of being a great dancer, singer and actor.
