This is one of the best drama series ever written and the best coming of age/family drama to date. In the short time it aired it addressed teen drug and alcohol use/abuse, sexuality, mortality and morality. As a teen I was engrossed by characters I could readily relate too and fascinated by the scenes of their parents private lives and problems and how they intertwined. A fantastic show for 12-120 year olds, and great for family watching as a tool (and entertainment) to understand your pod.
Even as a teenager growing up in the age of iPods and Facebook, this TV show still has a place both in my life, as well as the world in general. My So-Called Life chronicles the life of Angela Chase who goes through what every teenage girl in America goes through: the inevitable rebellion against parents, the crush, and the growing and learning to live life by your own rukes and find oout where you belong in this world. This TV show illustrates this quest faboulously. Even though the fashions may be outdated the overall message is not. This is a classic everyone should see, and once you do you'll find yourself rewatching it again and again.
Most amazing TV show of all time.
This was my favorite show when it was on TV in 1994, and it is still every bit as good now that I'm an adult. It's a one of a kind, untouchable must have.
