Description

What happened to silver screen icon Natalie Wood? In 1981 she disappears from the yacht she's staying on off Catalina Island with her husband, actor Robert Wagner. The coroner concludes the death is accidental. Years later a witness changes his story and the police reopen the investigation. We retrace Natalie's fateful day with help from her sister and a member of the search party.

Nothing Gained by Viewing

This 'documentary' adds nothing at all to what is already known. There are no interviews that add fact to bolster a theory. All of it is innuendo offered by two people who serve as gossip columnists/narrators and Lana Wood, Natalie's sister. The two best biographies of Natalie clearly make the case that Lana was not close to her sister during the years she was married to Robert Wagner, so the best Lana can offer is her emotional speculation. One thing that was especially irritating was the woman who kept saying that Wood lived "a fairy tale life". This claim after saying she grew up in a family where comfort and love were in short supply. This 'documentary' is a waste of time and adds nothing to what is already known. If I could give less than one star, I would.
