Description

Rob Morrow stars as FBI agent Don Eppes, who recruits his mathematical genius brother, Charlie (David Krumholtz), to help the Bureau solve a wide range of challenging crimes in Los Angeles. From two very different perspectives, the brothers take on the most confounding criminal cases, aided by Don's partner, Terry Lake (Sabrina Lloyd), and new FBI recruit David Sinclair (Alimi Ballard). Although their father, Alan (Judd Hirsch), is pleased to see his sons working together, he fears their competitive nature will lead to trouble. Charlie's colleague, physicist Dr. Larry Fleinhardt (Peter MacNicol), urges Charlie to focus more on his university studies than on FBI business. Inspired by actual events, Numb3rs depicts how the confluence of police work and mathematics provides unexpected revelations and answers to the most perplexing criminal questions.

Decent Show - Episodes are out of order

The first 6 shows are misnamed and out of order. Watch them in this order: 1. Pilot 2. Structural Corruption (this episode should be named "Uncertainty Principle") 3. Vector (this is properly named) 4. Prime Suspect (this should be named "Structural Corruption") 5. Sabotage (this should be named "Prime Suspect") 6. Uncertainty Principle (this should be named "Sabotage")

FAQ answers

I will answer some questions that I have read. (Date: 12/03/07) Q. Why is it half a season? A. Numb3rs debuted in January of 2005, only giving CBS 13 episodes for Season 1 Q. Anything about a missing/mistitled episode --- As for the order, check some website (Wikipedia has a list). Back in September, iTunes incorrectly listed the episode "Sabotage" as "Uncertainty Principle" and a while back (at least six months) it was the opposite. Somewhere between now and then, Apple seemed to have (somewhat) fixed the problem. As I am typing this, there are 12 of 13 Season 1 episodes available, all of which are titled correctly. "Sabotage" is now the missing episode. If there are only 12 episodes up for purchase, do yourself a favor by watching the preview for "Sabotage" and/or "Uncertainty Principle" to make sure that they still have the correct titles. If the episodes are titled correctly, Sabotage will take place in a train yard, while Uncertainty will involve a shootout. The other description belongs to the missing episode (again, only applies if 12 episodes are available).

Simply Addictive!

It has all the required elements of a great show: excellent storylines, interesting and realistic characters, quality of production and an amazing cast!!! It is not just another FBI show, as it goes deeper than that. There's no way you can resist the Epps family and the way father and sons complement and relate to each other. It is endearing amidst all the horrors of the cases presented.
