Description
The doctors are ready to see you now. And this season, there are old favorites . . . and new blood. J.D. returns to Sacred Heart, but this time to teach med school, along with Turk, Drs. Cox and Kelso, and Intern Denise. Unfortunately, the new med students, Lucy, Drew and Cole, are every bit as green as J.D. and Turk were when they first started out. With so many new, quirky personalities to deal with, this is definitely going to be a tricky operation. Can J.D. and Turk show them how to handle life-and-death situations without taking life too seriously? Of course they can! And as the camaraderie grows between our new med students, they might just teach these old doctors a trick or two. Get ready to examine one of the funniest and most unique shows on television.

Great Start!
I didn't think that the new season with a new cast would do so well, but it has. I can't wait to see more episodes in the future.
Very Surprised
Being a long time Scrubs fan I was one of the many thinking there shouldn't be a season 9. After watching it last night I was very surprised. I am not rating this as a new season of Scrubs, but as a new spin off series, like it's intended to be. For one, the 3 new characters: Drew, Lucy, and Cole are great. Not a big fan of Cole, but I think they intended you to feel that way towards him. All three actors who ply them are great and are a good choice to carry on the series. The old cast members are great also. J.D., Turk, Dr. Cox, and Denise are great as always. The episodes themselves were good, defiantly a different vide than the original Scrubs. The only problem is that there isn't as much patient interaction and when there is, it's usually short and doesnt really build up a sory for a patient. But thats not what this new "Scrubs" is suppose to be so I can let it go. Only concern is that I don't know how it will do one Zach Braff leaves after the 5 episodes. Though I think the new series can old on its own, it will be losing some of its biggest charm and what really makes Scrubs. But until then, it was great considering its a new series not the old Scrubs fans of the show know.
Horrible...Should've Stopped While they Were Ahead
I am also a huge fan of Scrubs. It is really the only show that I still watch on a consistent basis. With that said, I am really not liking the new season. I thought, for one, the only funny parts were with JD and Turk. I also thought there was way to much sexual content right off the bat. One of the reasons why I liked Scrubs so much is because it was not too bad as far as content is concerned. Now, with this new season, there is already more sexual parts in the first two episodes than all the episodes of season 5 all together. I am very disappointed. The new characters I thought were horrible as well. Not good at all. Where is Carla and Ted? It really should've stopped at Season 8. Sorry I am so negative. It's just disappointing.
