After the riot . . . after the killings . . . after the lockdown . . . after the hate . . . there is one dream left for the Emerald City prisoners at Oswald State Penitentiary: the dream of escaping it — alive or dead. HBO presents Season 2 of this acclaimed drama series that focuses on an experimental "prison within a prison" called Emerald City, the site of a deadly riot climaxing the first season. Despite a renewed rehab commitment by its creator, Tim McManus, Em City and its congregation of colorful — and highly volatile — inmates remains steeped in corruption, violence and racism — as well as the desire among inmates to escape prison realities by any means necessary.

In the aftermath of the riot that killed six inmates and two officers, Oz is locked down, and Emerald City prisoners are sent either to solitary or gen pop. A special committee is appointed to investigate the riot and Governor Devlin's handling of it; the committee's leader is law-school Dean Alvah Case, who roams Oz questioning inmates and officers alike. Inside, a gen pop prisoner named James Robson demands that Beecher perform a sex act on him, and gets a painful tip in return. Case determines that the death of inmate Scott Ross during the riot was no accident--but is the truth better left untold?||55:58||$1.99||View in iTunes|
