Description

These days, families come in all forms – single dads, double moms, sperm donors, egg donors, one-night-stand donors… It's 2012 and anything goes. Bryan (Andrew Rannells) and David (Justin Bartha) are a Los Angeles couple and they have it all. Well, almost. With successful careers and a committed, loving partnership, there is one thing that this couple is missing: a baby. And just when they think the stars will never align, enter Goldie (Georgia King), an extraordinary young woman with a checkered past. A midwestern waitress and single mother looking to escape her dead-end life and small-minded grandmother (Emmy and Tony Award-winner Ellen Barkin), Goldie decides to change everything and move to L.A. with her precocious eight year-old daughter. Desperate and broke – but also fertile – Goldie quickly becomes the guys' surrogate and quite possibly the girl of their dreams. Surrogate mother, surrogate family.

Hope this one makes it

NBC has had a rough time with successful shows, most people know that, but now and again they have a gem, and I think this is one of those. I may be biased toward Andrew Rannells because of how amazing his was as Kevin Price in The Book of Mormon, and Justin Bartha because he's just gorgeous, but I honestly think that this plot and the comedy will win over the hearts of so many people, as it already has with me. It's faced some critisism, even though it hasn't even been released yet, but I hope that this show opens people's minds to something new that they may not understand, but are learning to accept. I can't wait for the show to air and I really hope it lasts.

So cute and funny

It is so nice and making it funny at the same time

Love it

I Love this show and can't wait to see more. It's so beautiful showing the world a different and non traditional type of family. Ryan Murphy did an excellent job.
