In this action-packed show set in 2048, a worse-for-wear cop teams up with a second-hand synthetic android to fight a strain of urban crime that’s evolved in ever more frightening ways. Detective John Kennex survived a catastrophic attack on the city’s police department that cost him nearly everything. Returning over a year later, he finds the transition difficult. Not only does he suffer guilt for the lethal ambush, but department policy now requires that every cop be paired with a highly evolved human-like android partner. Rejecting policy, Kennex reinstates an outdated Dorian android — whose somewhat dysfunctional platform is based on a “Synthetic Soul” program, allowing it to have emotional responses. It’s this flawed humanity, however, that connects Dorian and John. And together, they set out to keep the city safe, uncover the criminal conspiracy that threatens to destroy their world … and find their common humanity.

Surprisingly fast character development
I was very pleasantly surprised to find that by the second episode, the chemistry and development of the main characters is already progressing so well. It bodes well for the series, as long as Fox keeps it on. Please, Fox… don't Fox this great series, as you have so many in the past. Give it a Foxing chance. You've Foxed up enough.
Season Pass please
Watched the pilot when it aired last night, but I hate having to deal with that, would rather just buy the season pass and watch it a day later (without commercials). Pilot was great, I thought, but I'll wait for the season pass. Hopefully they will put it up soon.
Great, but where is the season pass?
While exploring a well tread genre, Almost Human is a show that remains fresh and exciting; mxiing humor with cop drama with a well written script. I highly recommend to scifi and cop drama fans alike. My only gripe is that there is no season pass. Where is it?
