Pit Boss is a docu-soap that follows the everyday drama and joy of four little people who hit the streets of Los Angeles in their fight to overcome stereotypes — for themselves and the pit bulls they save. Shorty Rossi is a former actor, entertainment guru, and pit bull rescuer with lofty ideals, a tough attitude, and an entertainment industry rolodex to help his cause. Shorty, a workaholic with a devilish sense of humor and quick temper, balances two jobs — running Shortywood Productions, a Hollywood talent management company for little people, as well as Shorty’s Rescue, his pit bull rescue. Shorty, aptly named, along with his three cohorts, Ronald, Ashley, and Sebastian, happen to be little people who have the biggest hearts for these adorable dogs who often are bigger than they are.

Uniquely Entertaining and Inspiring

Wow. I love the contrast between short people and huge dogs – both with incredible hearts. Great humor, interesting content and great pacing. Shorty is amazing, his crew is brilliant. Was that fight real? What 5.5' guy attacks someone half their size? Insane.

****Incredibly entertaining***

I absolutely loved this show!! The dogs are so huge, the people so small, the adventures so interesting!! I especially liked hearing Shorty describe how pit bulls and short people are alike: they are both pre-judged before anyone has really met or knows them. Sad.
Throughout the show the dogs are funny and loving...the shelter scene made me cry...maybe someday so many wonderful dogs won't have to die. Hopefully this show and Shorty's great rescue work will help change and educate.

HILARIOUS, INSPIRING >well worth watching!!!

Shorty is like a pitbull - and that's a complement

I've heard people on other forums criticize Shorty for his past, but the man turned his life around. Give him credit not only for doing that but he described himself as part of the problem in breeding the dogs and now he's trying to convert and convince others to be more responsible dog owners.

The pitbull has a fierce reputation, but I'm seeing now that it is the owners who train them to be agressive or cultivate that trait in breeding them.

Makes me wonder how anyone can find the time to run both the entertainment company and the dog rescue operation. But if it's something you love, then somehow you make the time.
