Let the sewing, stitching and snickering begin! Hosted by supermodel and fashion maven Heidi Klum, Project Runway kicks off its eighth season with 17 talented designers — the most in series history — and a new 90-minute format. Filmed on location in New York, each episode of the Emmy Award-nominated series will feature more couture creations and fashion flubs than ever as the designers attempt to make the cut to show at New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Center. In the show’s expanded format, the new crop of designers will encounter Klum, mentor Tim Gunn and judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia, as well as top-name guest designers and celebrity judges, as they face inventive challenges, unexpected eliminations and other surprises along the way.

I love watching it and my family makes fun of me for it. Its really annoying
cause every designer I want to stay on ends up getting booted off.
