It's not a polygamist-friendly world out there. That's why Bill Henrickson wants to protect his growing family by diversifying his businesses, building goodwill in his neighborhood, and adding a new wife who can deliver him more children. Welcome to the big third season of Big Love, the hit HBO drama series about this polygamist businessman (played by Bill Paxton) who lives in suburban Salt Lake City with his three wives and eight children. In Season 3, Bill, who last season bought a gaming-machine business to supplement his Home Plus superstores, is looking to diversify even further in the face of a flat do-it-yourself market and a crackdown on polygamists around the country.

With Roman in jail and incensed at Alby for betraying him, Nicki decides to temp at the DA's office to hunt down state's evidence for Adeleen. After learning she may have a cancer recurrence, Barb warms to the idea of Ana joining the family, though the waitress is resistant to the family's overtures. Meanwhile, Frank's teenaged son Frankie ends up on Bill's doorstep after his father throws him to the curb. Sarah shatters Heather's dream of attending the same local college. Roughed up in a bathroom, Alby becomes suspicious of Bill and, later, Adeleen. An annual block party becomes the battleground for Bill to defend the family against neighborhood gossip, and for Nicki to defend her lifestyle as the daughter of Roman Grant.||58:18||$2.99||View in iTunes|

Season 3 is the one that has been missing from iTunes for ages. And the Big Love fans have been very upset about. But now there is light in the dark. Bring Season 4 also when it soon begins. Season Pass is a good idea!
Most thought-provoking show on television
Big Love has long been HBO's under-the-radar show that people know about but aren't watching. It's time to watch. Not only does it contain some of the best writing in recent memory, but some of the best performances as well. Chloe Sevigny and Bill Paxton cease being themselves and fully assume the roles of their characters. The show may be about Bill, but the wives are it's stars with each woman guilty of making us want more. If you are not already hooked on this show, get hooked.
