Just up the river from our nation's capital lies a hidden gem - Potomac, Maryland. Its rolling hills, gated mansions, sophisticated prep schools, and exclusive country clubs all serve to keep the area invitation-only. Sprinkled throughout this community are a handful of old-line, wealthy African-American families who have historically broken racial barriers to provide the best life possible for their children. "The Real Housewives of Potomac" follows the upscale lives of six intriguing, well-to-do women: Gizelle Bryant, Katie Rost, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, Robyn Dixon, and Ashley Darby, all of whom have fought for their places in this society by way of legacy or marriage. In a town where entry is granted only through class, pedigree, and lineage, how far will these ladies go to secure their spot at the top of this prestigious circle? "The Real Housewives of Potomac" is produced by True Entertainment with Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Lorraine Haughton-Lawson, Bianca Barnes-Williams, Ashley McFarlin Buie serving as Executive Producers, and Anne Swan as Co-Executive Producer. Andy Cohen also serves as an Executive Producer.

Etiquette (so they say)
The show is starting of the way the original cast of OC and NY were on the show. It was all about etiquette and respect but truly none of them really have proper etiquette. The only difference is that the show is a lot more ratchet then he original. The drama heated up only on the first episode towards the end. Great 1st episode… Hopefully the season continues to be great.
Don't waste your time
Bravo is getting really desperate to create this show. The women come off as they are trying to be something more then hood rats. It's horrible. Just horrible. Don't waste your time. Not worth it will be a one season show like the women of DC.
This is the worst imitation of the other franchises. What was Bravo thinking? I hope it’s just a bad script and not how people really treat each other. If I were black or part black, I would be embarrassed that these people would represent my race. Waste of time and waste of money. That Karen needs serious therapy!!!! What a horrible snob. Classless person...
