On Rise of the Machines, H2® reveals the most surprising inventions that have made our biggest and most iconic machines possible. See how our fastest land vehicles depend on a system of springs and coils first developed by the Romans to keep chariot wheels from flying off as they rounded tight corners. Find out how barrel makers are directly connected to the framing of the deepest-diving submarines. And, with the help of the latest CGI, learn the amazing stories behind submarines, high-speed trains, aircraft carriers, icebreakers and helicopters. You will never look at a machine the same way again.

Highly Informative & Significant!

The lifting body design in airships along with the ability to control bouncy with bladders and compressors will likely be a major breakthrough that defines the 21st century. Apart from being able to ship heavy cargo to places on Earth that are currently inaccessible, the ability to lift heavy loads to heights inaccessible to cranes will enable far larger and higher skyscrapers at lower cost. Remember the futuristic cities from science fiction, the great airship technology will make it so!

I think the show is amazing and dare I say groundbreaking in regards to the use of graphics and story telling BUT why is the narrator yelling... ALL of the time????? Honestly it's a bummer and totally knocks me out of the show :(

Live Schreiber would have been perfect as the VO guy
