Night Court, Season 1Closed Captioning

Open iTunes to preview or buy TV shows.

Disorder in the Court! That’s the verdict when a parade of zany and bizarre characters passes before an unconventional and unpredictable judge in this hilarious sitcom. At night is when you’ll meet the weirdos, wannabes, lecherous fiends, nutballs, and more — and those are just the people in charge of New York’s Criminal Court Swing Shift. Magician/comedian Harry Anderson portrays Judge Harold “Harry” T. Stone, a man with a joy-buzzer sense of courtroom decorum and a gleeful enthusiasm for velvet-voiced scat singer Mel Torme. Boston Legal's John Larroquette and the imposing Richard Moll team up with Anderson for the show’s run of law and disorder in the debut season. Also on the docket for the first premiere are guest stars Michael J. Fox and Russain comedian Yakov Smirnoff. Court’s in session . . . and so’s the fun!

Customer Reviews

First season is nice but without some of the most beloved characters

Markie Post and Marsha Warfield are missing from season 1, 2 and 3 (Warfield).
The show isn't bad at all but it starts kicking off with season 3 and 4.
iTunes should skip season 2 and start with seasons 3 and 4.

We need ALL seasons!

I dont agree that iTunes should skip season 2! For one I LIKE Paula Kelly and Karen Austin. I was so sad to see Karen/Lana disappear at the end of season 1. I also would like to see Selma's final performances in season 2 (Selma Diamond died during summer between seasons 2 & 3). While I do want the other seasons, too, I wouldn't want iTunes to skip the second season for those reasons.

I grew up with this show (8 when it first aired) and was always a night owl but back then being a night owl for me was falling asleep around 10:30-11 now it's 1-3 am :0) Just watching it brings me back to my childhood and I can't wait until the other seasons make there way into the iTS. Please make them available soon, I'm already finished the first season! :0)

Good start

iTunes! We need the rest of the nine seasons! Night Court provided some of the funniest moments of television in the last thirty years.
