School House Rock ROCKS! It was the most fun I ever had learning about stuff. Actually I didn't really learn anything, it was just really entertaining

Educator's Delight

Over thirty years ago, ABC figured out what many still struggle with today; kids learn best when it is a game. The introduction of School House Rock caused many to take notice. Kids who were glued to the Saturday morning cartoon line-up could now multiply. Words such as conjunction and adjective became part of their vocabulary. Learning had occurred. Today much of that learning has been replaced by more modern games such as Leap Pad. That doesn't however; diminish the value of School House Rock. Kids will learn these lessons if for no other reason than to sing and dance while they should be sitting up straight and quiet in the classroom. But $1.99 each for a three-minute commercial? Yes, originally they were commercials. Fillers sponsored by different companies to play between thirty-minute cartoons. Please, wise up. Make this learning experience more available to those who would love to use it in the classroom. Set the bundle at a much more reasonable price. Bottom line: Is it worth the price? Yes. Would it be more desirable at a lower price? Absolutely!

No. It's not worth it.

Not worth it. Though the Dylan-inspired "Three is a Magic Number" might be worth the two bucks I paid for it. But can't i-tunes do any better than this? I mean, I'm stupid enough to throw my money away on i-pod shows. I'm game. I think I should be rewarded for that stupidity with a better selection. They have bupkis.
