Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo are back! This time they’re solving mysteries in the spooky town of Crystal Cove, a sleepy coastal village that boasts a long history of ghostly sightings, werewolves and glowing deep-sea divers. Because of all the mystery, Crystal Cove has become a tourist hotspot taking in major profits, and the townspeople don't appreciate the meddling of the renowned sleuthing team. In Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, the curious gang investigates every circumstance with a questioning mindset. Ghosts and monsters may exist, but extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof, and the gang will stop at nothing to learn the truth of Crystal Cove. Plus, the drama isn’t limited to paranormal activities — the gang is portrayed as teens with real problems, dealing with situations that arise in their families and personal relationships within the group.

The best scooby-doo to date

People need to understand that change happens, and if there is anything that needed a change for the better, it was scooby-doo. This is by far the best scooby cartoon I have ever seen. And to top it off Lewis Black as the mysterious Mr.E. This is beast.

A promising start

Like many people, I grew up and fell in love with scooby doo but have been disappointed by many of the newer adaptations. And while I've only seen the 1st episode of this new series, I have to say I like what I see. I loved the original scooby doo and I know some people are complaining that this series is not staying true to the old version but I don't think that's entirely fair. In fact, I think one of the major faults with newer adaptations is that, while trying to stay true to the original scooby, they ultimately fell into a tiring, unoriginal loop that failed to bring anything new to the franchise.

Instead of being another crappy, wannabe remake, it seems they gave this series a new spin and I think it works. I'm especially intrigued by the promise of a running plot, that's something we haven't seen before. Not to mention it gives room for potential character growth/development. I also liked the animation, it is a nice blend of the old character design with a modern twist. I can only hope that the rest of the series is as promising as the pilot and doesn't let me down. (oh and keep an eye on fred's father, he is so totally suspicious!).

i think this is the best Scooby-Doo show they ever made in the 2009-2010 year zone. the colors are bright and the animation is great. but i wished the first episode was free just like alot of shows on iTunes now.
